When a wine is currently being processed, such as being added to your account, listed for sale, or included in a removal request, a padlock icon will appear next to the bottle. This indicates the wine cannot be managed until the process is complete.
If you have any questions about a locked item, please contact your Cellar Manager for assistance.
After logging in, go to My Cellar from your home page. Tick the box next to each wine you’d like to remove, then select Remove from Cellar at the bottom right.

Most wines on the Marketplace are owned by Wine Ark storage clients, not Wine Ark itself. The Marketplace operates as a collector‑to‑collector platform supported by Wine Ark’s storage, expertise and inventory systems.
A wine in the Wine Ark Provenance Program has been stored in Wine Ark’s climate‑controlled cellars since its original release.
This means its storage history is fully traceable, offering added confidence when buying aged wine. Provenance wines are clearly marked with a banner on the listing.
Each wine is assessed when it enters Wine Ark storage and given three condition ratings, each scored from 1 to 5 (with 5 being the best).
The ratings cover ullage (fill level), label condition, and capsule or closure condition. Together, they provide a clear snapshot of the bottle’s physical state.
No, we can only transfer funds to Australian Bank accounts.
If your wines have a LOCK beside them, they could still be in the cataloguing stage, or maybe in a live checkout you have placed. Wine Ark also has minimum condition requirements for wines to be listed on the Marketplace. If your wine has a condition rating of less than 4 in any category, it cannot be listed.
Yes. If you store your wines in Managed storage, our Wine Ark Concierge can assist with suggested list pricing and a sales strategy. They can also list the wines on your behalf. Reach out to the Concierge team for information.
Sellers control their own pricing. You can list bottles at your chosen price, with the final advertised price shown inclusive of GST and Wine Ark’s commission, so buyers see a clear all‑in cost.
No. Your wine remains stored in the same Wine Ark facility throughout the listing and sale process. When a sale occurs, Wine Ark handles picking, packing, and delivery directly to the buyer.
Once logged into your Wine Ark account, you can select wines from your online cellar and choose to list them for sale on the Marketplace. Because your inventory is already digitised and barcode‑tracked, no additional handling or photography is required from you.
Managed Cellarage ensures verified provenance, professional storage conditions, and bottle‑level inventory tracking. This allows Wine Ark to confidently present wines to buyers with trusted storage history and condition details, which is essential for resale.
Only Wine Ark clients with wine stored in Managed Cellarage can list bottles for sale on the Wine Ark Marketplace. Wines must already be receipted, inspected, catalogued, and stored within Wine Ark’s climate‑controlled facilities to be eligible.
